Rationale: When considering whether there is space in the market for my magazine I carried out extensive research finding what type of magazines appeal to the public and what music genres are the most popular. I came to the conclusion that I want as originally planned have a magazine which provides articles on a variety of artists and bands from popular genres and keeping my audience at girls aged 9-16. I feel this concept would work best because I know a lot about what I have chosen to include within it.
Style: Bubbly, chatty, professional, fun and appealing to my target audience.
Regular Content: fashion & beauty, gossip, posters, album and single reviews, concert details, X Factor gossip, competitions and cringes and funny moments.
Feature content in your issue: interview with a new music star.
House style: For the font I will keep it consistent for the title of my magazine and contents page title. However, for the other writing on the title page and contents page it will be varied and this will apply for the double page spread as well.
