Update on coursework

This week I have finished my interview and have finished creating the QR code and considering which images to place where. Perhaps for improvement I might adjust the layout depending on how things will plan out. So next week I will work on adding the pictures and see if they suit where I am going to place them and finish editing them.

Double Page Spread so far

This week I began to start on my double page spread. First of all I came up with the title of the article then I began to write my article. I felt that writng the article was quite easy however, next week I will finish it. In addition, I found the laying out the page the most difficult due to thinking what will look best in certain places also how the pictures will look when added. Furthermore, I decided to create an interactive element to my page and I thought this would good to add through additional research and how magazines now incorporiate a Smartphone Scan QR code within their articles to provide additional information through the internet such as videos, extra interviews, pictures etc.
So next week I will finish the Smartphone Scan QR code off and complete the interview and begin inserting images into all the pages.

Some of my edited pictures

With these images I decided to edit them on adobe photoshop and I decided to edit the exposure, tiny and temperature, hue and saturation and brightness and contrast each of them. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome and I feel that I have become more confident with the software.

Overview of this weeks work

This week I have begun to edit my pictures and continued to work on my contents page. With my contents page I need to finish writing the names of the articles and add the images and add the final touches before I upload my final first draft. Additionally I have begun to think of ideas for my double page spread and how perhaps I will structure it and lay it out.

Overview of this weeks work

This week I have begun to create my first draft of my front cover and contents page also I experimented whilst crating them with the features in which InDesign offered. Furthermore, what I found successful was the way I can make different elements stand out and look realistic to resemble a real magazine. However, the thing I struggled with was grouping the items without moving the background. Additionally, I took some of the photos for my magazine and sorting through the ones that were successful. Moreover, next week I am going to be concise with final choice of photos and begin to edit them and will upload then as soon as possible. Finally, from experience this week I will work perhaps at a quicker place and post more regularly and upload my draft so far.

Review of photo shoot

When taking my photos this week that I am proud and pleased with the outcome however, I struggled with shadowing but when I am editing them I will make sure there is none in view that should not be there. So on the whole it worked successfully!
